A Partnership Based on Values . . .
Supporting Youth Leadership, Service & Stewardship!

Therapeutic Adventures, Inc. understands and embraces the core values of Scouting. Take time to reflect on those values which
comprise the Scout Law - A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean,
and reverent. Our partnership with the Boy Scouts of America has added an important dimension to the services we offer - providing
greater access to the outdoors for persons with disabilities, chronic illnesses and special health needs and helping people improve
their quality of life.
Leadership and service are integral parts of Scouting. For his Eagle Scout project, Caleb Andrews partnered with Thomas Jefferson
Trout Unlimited, Therapeutic Adventures, Inc. and Augusta Medical Center - Project LEAP. He designed, organized and provided the
leadership for:
Adaptive Anglers on the Fly ® Fly Fishing Camp for the Disabled.
In addition to over 500 hours of total service, Caleb developed a "How To" Manual to assist other scout troops and service
organizations who may wish to provide a similar experience in their community. This manual may be downloaded on our website:

As a function of this special camp, the scouts were exposed to important lessons that helped prepare them for the Disability merit
badge. Scouts also had the opportunity teach and practice the values which are a function of Leave No Trace - Outdoor Ethics.

We are committed to continue and carry on with this effort to provide the:
Adaptive Anglers on the Fly Fly Fishing Camp for the Disabled
This special camp is a service that benefits everyone who is involved!
