A Special Treat for Veteran Mono-Skiers
Kit Nuggent is a nationally ranked mono-skier
who has competed and earned medals at
several regional and national alpine skiing
 competitions in the Northeast and Rocky
Mountains. In January, he visited Massanutten
to provide advanced instruction to some
mono-skiers from the McGuire Veterans
Hospital. Those individuals who had an
opportunity to ski with Kit were blessed with
his quality instruction; not to mention, they got
to see some dynamic graceful skiing as he
carved turns with his mono-ski down the
Massanutten ski terrain.
