Alumni Return to MASS to help Others

Ryan Hubbard, a 23-year-old realtor in the Charlottesville area, was a volunteer instructor with the MASS Alumni Program. A former participant with the Kluge Children's Rehabilitatioon Center - Learn to Ski Programs, Ryan started his three-track skiing up at Massanutten when he was eight.

"It was both a pleasure and an honor to have a fine young man like Ryan return to volunteer with the program," said Director Mark Andrews. "Ryan has both the skiing skills and personal qualities we like our kids to be exposed to while up at Massanutten. Having alumni come back to ski and instruct benefits everyone involved. It creates a win-win situation for both the kids and instructors."

Ryan paired up with Josh Sunquist, another three-track skier. the two ski a significant amount of vertical feet and attacked themogals on "Dixie Dare," some of the most difficult terrain on the mountain.
